I slipped out for an evening on the water on May 7, 2013 with my dad after a day of work in St. George. The weather looked fierce, but I didn’t care. I wanted to go out so bad because it had been almost a month since my last bass fishing adventure. I finally convinced my dad to brave the incoming storm. Turned out to be a good decision, because we caught almost 25 bass that night. Here is what went down while we where out on the water. Hopefully, this will help you in your next adventure to release the kraken on some Sand Hollow Largemouth Bass.
Sand Hollow Laregemouth Bass Fishing Spots
Here is a map of where we fished that night. We only had a few hours on the water, but every one of these places produced fish.

Sand hollow Largemouth Bass Fishing Conditions
We had every piece of weather you could imagine during a short 4 hour stretch of time. The water temperature was around 64-65 degrees. The wind would blow up to 15 miles an hour at times. We also experienced some rain. Plus, we had a period flat calm with lightning going on around us. It was kind of eerie. We got off the water for a minute while the lightning was blasting around us. There was no one on the lake, and best of all the Largemouth Bass were eating our baits!
Here’s a picture of one of the giants we caught in these crazy conditions. The fluctuating weather seemed to have the bass moving around and biting!
We saw a lot of fish up shallow, and sitting on nests for the spawn. Plus, we saw a bunch cruising around. The Lake was in the best conditions for catching good numbers of Largemouth. We had Largemouth in pre-spawn, spawn, and post-spawn modes. They were super aggressive, and it was a lot of fun.

My dad also threw a green pumpkin sweet beaver texas rigged with a 1/4oz. bullet head. He did really well on it as well. Between the two of our baits we wound up catching about 25 bass that night. It was a lot of fun.
