Throughout the years I’ve stumbled across some unique pieces of bass fishing equipment to help make life easier on the water. Here’s a list of some of these cool items you might find useful when you’re out bass fishing. Having the right equipment can often make a miserable experience fishing into an awesome one. Enjoy this post on unique pieces of bass fishing equipment to help you get “Kraken” bass!
Bass Fishing Equipment
There are a ton of things out on the market not attached to a rod and reel for making life easier when you’re out on the water. For example, everyone needs a good set of pliers, snippers for cutting line, and a fishing net. Here’s a few unique things I’ve run across recently that have helped me on the water. Give them a look through, and hopefully they can help keep you “Kraken” bass!
Instynct Ring
One of my favorite pieces of gear is my silicon wedding ring from Instynct Rings. It’s durable, and prevents damage to my current wedding ring. Especially when I’m outside chasing bass or at the gym trying to stay in shape. Make sure to check them out. It’s a great gift idea for a fellow fishing fanantic.
Temperature Gun
I had a friend give me one of these temperature guns, and I have absolutely loved it. I mainly use it to see what the water temperature is when fishing from the shore. Just point the infared gun at what you want to get a reading on and pull the trigger. It will spit out a decently accurate water temperature reading on the display. You can also use it for a variety of other things such as checking the temperature of your bearings on your trailer wheels. It’s sweet. I highly recommend picking one up. Here’s the link to the one I have: Infrared Gun Thermometer
Click Counter
A tally counter is just flat out fun to have around to keep track of the number of bass you catch each trip. I keep it in my pocket, and give it a little “click” every time someone catches a bass. This counter is super light weight and easy to carry in your pocket. This helps you use your brain power on trying to catch more fish instead of trying to keep track of how many you caught. Here’s a link to snag one: Hand Tally Counter
Hopefully, you find these things useful. I’ve liked having them around. Please leave a comment below of some of the other pieces of equipment you’ve found handy while out on the water bass fishing. I’d love to hear some other suggestions. Everyone needs a good excuse to buy some more gear. Thanks for following the Kraken bass fishing blog!
